2018 Ferrari Portofino

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Ferrari_Portofino_IMG_0531.jpg
Welcome back readers! In todays blog I will discussing the upcoming Ferrari Portofino which will be released in 2018. In this blog I will briefly go over looks, price, specifications and more. Enjoy!

First of all the looks. As you may be able to tell the Portofino looks a lot like the California. The reason for that is that the Portofino is the new California. In my opinion the car looks quite quaint but nothing too special. I think the side view of the car is much better looking than the front on view. If I were to get the car I would of course, get it in the Ferrari red colour.

Prices for the car still haven't been confirmed but people reckon Ferrari will charge at least $205,000. The car boasts of a 3.9 litre V8 twin-turbo engine which results in 590 horsepower. It will do 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds. The car will have fully electric power steering. It also features new gadgets inside too.

The car will be built at Ferrari's factory in Maranello, Italy. The car will most likely be built of of aluminium instead of carbon fibres the metal suits the manufacturers cars better.

Bugatti Chiron

Welcome back! In todays blog I will be going over and looking at the possibly the most anticipated supercar of 2016. It is of course the Bugatti Chiron, the Bugatti Veyron's predecessor. In this blog i will briefly go over looks, price, specifications and more. Enjoy!

Firstly the looks. The car looks so sleek and complex and I really love the colour scheme pictured above. I adore the arches on the sides just behind the door handles which make the car look very unique in my opinion. If I were to buy the car I would get it in the full carbon blue standard colour that Bugatti offer with a lighter blue interior. Needless to say I would make mine very distinctive and unique.

Last March Bugatti stated that 250 of the issued Chirons had been sold within a week of announcing. Whats crazy is that none of the buyers even test drove the car. Bugatti made upwards of $650,000,000 in sales from those buyers. The cars will be delivered over the next 7 years to the buyers.

The Chiron is manufactured in Molsheim, France by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. The brakes of the car are made with special carbon ceramic brake discs and brake callipers which have been made especially for the Chiron provide elite performance. In the interior the units on the central console was created from a single piece of solid aluminum. Carbon fibre is also widely used in the car to reduce weight.

Hope you enjoyed the read! Bye for now, Luxury cars blog.

2017 Audi R8 Sypder

In this blog I will be talking about my favourite car which I aspire to own. It is as you can probably tell by the title an Audi R8 Sypder. I will briefly go over looks, price, specifications and the background of how its made. Enjoy the blog!

For me this car is great looking. I like it convertible or not. If I owned the car I would get it in an Ara blue colour. I would get black rims. For the interior I would get a cream leather interior with all the add ons included.

The starting price is around $180,000.  I designed an R8 on the Audi website and the total came out at around $210,000. The car has a V10 engine producing a total of 540 horsepower. The transmission is a Seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission with quattro all-wheel drive. It can do 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and it has a top speed of 198 mph.

The cars are built at Audi's production plant in Neckarsulm, Germany. There are supposedly 5557 individual parts used to make an R8. 75% of the car is hand made while the other 25% is assembled by robots. They use aluminium to build the base frame and lots of carbon fibre to reduce weight and overall stiffness to the body. The total time taken to build an R8 is approximately 1 week.

The Holy Trinity

http://www.motorward.com/2014/11/gallery-laferrari-vs-mclaren-p1-vs-porsche-918/
This blog will be the first of four talking about luxury cars. In this blog I will be discussing and talking about three of the arguably most powerful hyper cars to date. They are of course the Porsche 918, the Ferrari Laferrari and the McLaren P1 often nicknamed 'The Holy Trinity'. I will briefly go over looks, power, top speed, engine, acceleration, price and then from this analysis pick my favourite out of the trio.

Firstly I'll look at the Porsche. The car has a naturally aspirated 4.6 litre engine generating a total of 610 bhp. The car has a top speed of 211mph and does 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. The base price for the 2015 model was around $845,000, however, the cars now are being resold for much more than $1,000,000 by private sellers. Personally, I think this car looks incredible. I also believe that most colours look very sleek on the car particularly matte finishes.

Next I'll look at the Ferrari Laferrari which has a 6.3 litre engine which generates a total of 950 horsepower. It has a top speed of 217mph and does 0-60mph in 2.6 seconds. The price for the 2016 model was about $1,400,000. I think the car looks stunning with a simple glossy signature Ferrari red paint job.

Finally I'll look at the McLaren P1. The P1 features a 3.8 litre V8 petrol engine which generates a total of 900 horsepower. It's top speed totals 217mph and it can do 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. The cars base price was $1,150,000 but they all sold out in 1 month. They now sell for upwards of $1,600,000. In my opinion the car looks amazing in a standard orange colour with matte black as the secondary.

Now for my conclusion. Overall I think all the cars are spectacular but there is one clear winner for me and that is the Ferrari Laferrari. This car is the winner due to its power, speed and looks. Although I've never driven any of the cars I read numerous reviews on the trio and the Laferrari comes out top on most. Thank you for reading.
